THE ROYS/I Only Have Good Days Writer: Julie Zeitlin/Jon Robbin; Producer: Kenny Royster; Publisher: A Thing Without a Head/Robbin Zone/IGGY Zone Ranger/ICG, ASCAP; Pedestal/9 North (CDX) —He gets a pink slip, runs out of gas and loses his gal. But when he gets to the bar with his bad attitude, the geezer tells him, “I only have good days/Days when I’m breathin’/Every day’s a good day when my heart’s still beatin.’” Words from the wise, delivered hillbilly style.

GREAT REVIEW!! Posted March 7th
The following was taken from Music Row. It's a review from the Music Row show by Mr. Robert K Oermann! After some more schmoozing, the brother-sister team The Roys provided the event's finale. Elaine's lilting hillbilly soprano and Lee's hearty country-boy tenor were flawless in both lead and harmony passages. "Workin' Girl Blues" kicked butt, and "Grandpa's Barn" tugged heartstrings. The result was the strongest set ever performed at this six-year-old Music Row tradition.

August 28, 2007 Pedestal/Nine North duo, The Roys, were on hand recently to help KMPS Seattle recognize a very special person for her work with the local office of the Washington American Red Cross. The station had arranged a special "KMPS Workbreak" lunch and mini-concert performance by The Roys for Susan Slate, one of the Red Cross staff who was nominated for the work that she does to help people in need. According to fellow staffer, Ann Byrnes, who nominated Slate, "Susan has committed her efforts to raising funds for the chapters of the American Red Cross in Washington State. She is a true professional whose desire is to serve people affected by large or small catastrophes that leave them in need of food, a place to stay, clothes. Her belief and commitment to the mission of the Red Cross is contagious. Susan is most deserving of a KMPS work break!" The Seattle visit was The Roys first trip to the Northwest on their current U.S. radio tour.
